The DVD of the show is nearly ready, but we thought you would like to see a few clips to keep the memory fresh. If you are interested in having a copy when it is available, please contact us at: Click here
What a great time was had by all!
The four shows were a terrific success, with great audiences, excited children and some of the best ad-libbing on stage I have heard in years. We will be posting some photos soon to bring all of the fun back. A DVD of the show will be available for Christmas.
Well, after four months of hard work on staging, music, choreography and design, we had the first night tonight. The audience were great, and got involved in the silliness of panto with the cast.
Our secure Boxoffice is now open for purchasing tickets for Sleeping Beauty. You can use almost any credit or debit card, or your PayPal account, if you have one. [Please note that we have no access to your card details, only name and contact details for ticket allocation.]
Buy now!! Ticket price reduction until October 9th 2011.
We have thousands of promotional flyers to hand out over the next few days. Cast and crew will be drumming up business to sell tickets for the show in five weeks time. The reverse of the flyers have all of the details on ordering tickets, from our very soon to be live, secure PayPal box office, to making a call. Or if you want to keep it very simple, just fill in the form on the back and post it in or hand it to someone on the production.
After a short break for holidays, the cast and crew are back in the rehearsal rooms to prepare for the shows in November. Construction is busy with the larger set pieces for the stage, marketing is gearing up for two months of promotion and the production team will be meeting weekly to make sure that all goes well.
The actors have spent two months working through the acts, blocking the staging and getting to know their places. They now have until the end of August to learn their lines and cues, because when the production returns there will be no scripts!!
Marketing and stage design is all go, and this will be setting some important key dates in September and October.
With the cast now starting rehearsals, we need to turn our attention to production help. All those who wanted to get involved, but didn’t want to be seen onstage, raise your hand!
Please take a look at the Production Roles page. This explains most of the backstage positions that need to be filled. You can simply volunteer your skills to support the production, or take on one of the main production roles. We would appreciate your help on any level, so please get in touch and be part of the fun.
The first full pantomime read-through/rehearsal has been arranged for this weekend. Cast should check their email for venue and times, which were sent out a few days ago.
Following the recent wave of auditions, we have spent the last week calling or emailing people to let them know what part they will be playing or role they have. If you have not heard from our team, please call, as all of the attendees have been given a role in the show.
We will be supplying a copy of the script in PDF format for the cast to print out and mark out their role. A read through is currently being planned and we will be posting the arrangements here, so do keep visiting. Rehearsals will be Sunday afternoons and Tuesday evenings.
